  • Condition: Vintage "Winnie the Pooh and Piglet" animated talking telephone. This was one of many estate finds I have gotten recently. All these have been in stoarge for at least 10-13 years.I wiped the dust off this and cleaned out a few cobwebs. That's all. I didn't try to take battery box apart. It is..."AS IS"....UNTESTED.

    Okay...
    This was an eastate find. Little lady said these have been in storage for between 10-13 years at least, according to her!! And I have no reason to doubt her!!
    This thing was wrapped in newspapers and covered in dust and cobwebs. You will see on the back of Pooh's head some white spots... these were screw holes filled in by spiders. As you can see, In the last 2 pics, I have removed these varmints!!  LOL
    I didn't unscrew the battery box. I left it as it was found. It has a small screw in it that is factory. The the top of the box comes off and "Viola!!" You have a place to put batteries!!
    In my understanding, when the phone rings, Piglet pops out of the Hunny Jar and tells you!!
    As I said, I have NOT messed with it to see if it works. #1 reason is, I don't have a land line phone!!
    That is the reason I am starting the bid off low. I make no promises as to working condition. It's still a neat item.
    A true piece of Americana when there was still and innocence to the world.
