Deagan Rosewood Marimba No 350 Early 1900s (1918-1925) + 5 pairs of mallets. Local pickup only.
I'm selling my Deagan Rosewood No 350 Marimba, along w 5 pairs of mallets. Although I don't know the exact year of its creation, based on it being a 350 my research tells me its the first line from deagen, dating it back to the early 1900s (1918-1925).
I've had the beautiful instrument for about ten years, but as my focus has shifted towards production over time it has rarely been played and I would love to help find it a new loving home for someone that equially appreciates its beauty as rare time piece and as a wonderful instrument.
It has seen some adventures over its life span, so some of of the brass pipes have exterior scratches and thus needs a slight tuning for a few of the notes. That being said, to buy a time piece over 100 years old for rosewood which is practically going extinct for this price point is a marvelous deal and I'm excited to help someone out on their journey learning or playing marimba.
